Richard Otto, DVM

Richard Otto, DVM, has been caring for pets and their families since graduating from Louisiana State University in 1998. With more than 25 years of experience, he brings a calm, down-to-earth approach to veterinary medicine that helps both pets and owners feel comfortable and understood.

Dr. Otto's professional interests include soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine, urgent care, and geriatric pet health. He takes the time to really listen to clients, offering thoughtful, honest recommendations - always based on what he would do if the patient were his own pet.

When he's not at the clinic, Dr. Otto enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and playing with his cat, Oda.  He also loves pet-sitting his Frenchie grandpups and grandcats whenever he gets the chance.
