Jennifer Tanner, DVM - Vet at After Hours Care

Dr. Tanner is a California native and graduate of the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Since 2012, she has proudly called the Chicagoland area home.

Throughout her career, Dr. Tanner has practiced emergency medicine, shelter medicine, and primary care; however, her true passion lies in emergency medicine. She is committed to treating every patient as if they were her own pet and every client as though they were a member of her family. Known for her compassionate approach and strong ability to connect with clients, Dr. Tanner combines progressive, high-quality medicine with clear communication and support during what can often be a stressful and emotional time.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Tanner enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter, their dogs, and their horse. Her interests include showing dogs, gardening, quilting, and a variety of creative crafting projects.
